Kim Ginnever, Twenty six years experience in the construction industry as journeyman carpenter, foreman and superintendent working on school projects, as well as acting as a Special Inspector and DSA Project Inspector working on modernizations and new construction.
Extensive knowledge of school construction process and DSA procedures. Excellent communication and computer skills. Every District Kim has worked at has requested to keep him on other projects Experienced in training apprentices, ordering materials, scheduling subcontractors,and deliveries. Monrovia High School, Monrovia Unified School District. Budget: $20 Million. The Monrovia High School project is 4 different aspects of school construction. Part 1 was site utility upgrades including new edison lines, storm drains,and sewers. The second part to the project was the construction of interim housing in 2 different locations on campus cosisting of 20 units including restrooms and locker rooms. The third part of construction on the campus was the remodel and upgrading of 11 existing buildings on campus. The upgrades to the existing buildings included, HVAC, data, lighting, paint, and ceilings. VIEW
Willard Elementary School, Pasadena Unified School District. New construction of 5 wood framed Kindergarten and Pre-K classrooms.The framing is complimented by structural steel columns and roof beams. Wood sheer walls add stability to the project.
The Pre-K and Kindergarten playgrounds will be furnished with new equipment and will be separated by chain link fencing. ADA compliant ramps and restrooms will be included in the project. VIEW
Webster Elementary School, Pasadena Unified School District. New construction of Administration and Nurses office in an existing working school. The offices are metal framed walls covered with drywall and drywall ceilings with Mahogany casework and solid suface countertops.The project also includes the remodeling of the school Auditorium.
This consisted of new lighting and sound systems. The seating was refurbished. Sound attenuation curtains were installed to limit echos. New flooring was also installed. Also included in the project are new ADA compliant drinking fountains at both the restroom corridor and at the grass field area. New ADA compliant restroom partitions were placed in the 1st floor boys and girls restrooms. VIEW
