ca-camhs32-letter-150The Monrovia High School project is 4 different aspects of school construction. Part 1 was site utility upgrades including new edison lines, storm drains,and sewers. The second part to the project was the construction of interim housing in 2 different locations on campus cosisting of 20 units including restrooms and locker rooms. The third part of construction on the campus was the remodel and upgrading of 11 existing buildings on campus. The upgrades to the existing buildings included, HVAC, data, lighting, paint, and ceilings.

The tennis courts were also refurbished. New construction consisted of a new wood framed math/science building, mid campus building with teachers lounge and mini kitchen. The new gymnasium featured, wrestling room, dance room, training room with jacuzzi tubs and tables, weight room, foyer with resrooms team rooms, and snack bar. The gym also has seating for over 1400 fans and has 2 full sized courts. The construction of the gymnasium is of steel brace frames and CMU sheer walls.

The exterior is plaster finish over metal framing. The other new area constructed was the stadium consiting of new bleacher seating 2400 on the home side and 450 on the vistors side. An all weather track was installed and new discus and shotput areas, along with high jump, pole vault, and long jump areas.The new football field was Field Turf. A new sound system was also part of the construction.
